The Plot and Style of Beowulf
maculation\nBeowulfs piece is complex and in that location were two stories that branched off. The starting ane was Hrothgars ancestors and family and the second wholeness is the create verbally report sung by the court poet after Beowulf disap smeargond Grendel. The movement of the diagram was rapid, the large is short and many things sink in one chapter. The piece is linear, it started with Grendel, who hunts Herot and ends with Beowulf returning to his home and battling a dragon. It doesnt employ suspense by breaking the action at a critical point, it was unendingly focused on the battles and no flashbacks occurred while the battles are occurring. There is other conflict which was Man vs. Society. This one was Unferths who hates and gets angry at anyone that had forever acquired glory and fame greater than his own.
